ACCA Exams - Where Will You Sit?

CSSC Tuition are an accredited ACCA & CIMA Tuition provider based in Staffordshire. We have a number of fantastic students working towards their accounting qualification at all levels, yet there is no longer a local, computerised ACCA exam centre meaning some are forced to travel on exam morning!

Where will you sit?

Those studying ACCA Strategic level or P Papers fortunately, have no need to worry. These are still hand written papers and the exams are easily accommodated at a local venue. Our CIMA students too have a choice of local Pearson Vue centres in which to sit their exams.

However, ACCA students sitting papers F5 - F9 ( or PM to FM as the new titles go) are forced to travel sometimes as far as Leicester (70 miles+) to find an exam venue with availability.

 

It doesn't seem fair that ACCA students in Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke on Trent, Crewe, Uttoxeter, Stafford, Burton and all other local areas have no choice but to travel on the day of the exam - this only adds to the stress and pressure (and cost)!

 

For December 2018 exam sittings, most spaces in Manchester and Birmingham - our two nearest big cities - were fully booked by September. Many went to Leicester others had to go to London and most had to pay the cost of travel themselves - this being an unforeseen expense which was outside the agreement of their employer sponsored study package.

On behalf of our students who had to travel to their exam venues -be assured we are in discussions with ACCA about establishing a new local CBE centre & we will keep you posted!
